um.. i don't know how to blog so here it goes. July 15, 2013 we left the heritage university, I think our first stop was at Celilo fall where we looked over at the water and learned about how many different falls fell. Also how it took out 9/10 of the people who live near the falls, but to this day they still have powwows to celebrate in memory of the falls and the salmon the fell with it. Then our next stop was at i think Satus Pass where we looked at petroglyphs that were carved or drawn by the past tribes of the area, some of these petroglyphs had meanings and others were what the tribes saw. i thought it was cool to see things in way past tribes have seen. on July 16, 2013 we checked out the stream restoration and met Jason Grant and Austin Smith. I learned about the environment works in many different ways to help the wildlife and messing with the natural resources can kill that wildlife. We also made tiny little rope out of some plant, i can't quite remember the name, but learned how to make rope the way the past tribes made rope. Today on July 17, 2013 we went horseback riding and that just made my day. We also went to the museum of Warm Springs and watched a video about the past ways of Warm springs, but got a little treat from the lady who led us on the trail. She told us a story about what had happened to her, and the point led up to showing how the cultural spiritual ways are a big part of the native american tribes. And now im at McDonalds blogging to whoever shall read this. OH! try the
